Education Seminar on Investing

The stock market sentiment has turned bullish with record-breaking turnover and high volatility since April 2015. Many people may start to invest to seek short-term gain without proper planning and understanding of the investment risks. After making a profit from the market upturn, they may be tempted to bet further on the market. However, in the worst scenario, investors may suffer losses and fall into debts if they borrow money to invest or trade on margin.

Centres from Caritas and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University invite experts to discuss the current issues of investors and the IEC to share the proper steps in investing and managing the risks.
