Money Management is an important topic in the revised General Studies curriculum. The Chin Family, in collaboration with Po Leung Kuk, will organize a teacher workshop. It aims to introduce teaching resources that can help teachers teaching financial education.

The "General Studies and Money Management" teaching package will be introduced in the workshop. The objective of the package is to help students build positive values, learn how to be a smart consumer, reflect on consumerism and acquire some good financial management skills.

The teaching package is based on the General Studies for Primary Schools Curriculum Guide (2017). It can also be matched with Personal Growth Education, Moral and Civic Education, Mathematics and Information Technology for cross-curricular teaching. The package provides worksheets, presentation slides, animations, lesson plans and E-Books which facilitate the teaching and reduces workload in lesson preparation.
