Ageing population is an important topic in the Liberal Studies curriculum. Investor and Financial Education Council (IFEC), in collaboration with Education Bureau and Sau Po Centre on Ageing (HKU), will organize a teacher workshop. It aims to introduce teaching resources that can help teachers teaching financial education and Liberal Studies.

The " Money Issues in Liberal Studies – Aging Population " teaching resource will be introduced in the workshop. The teaching resource includes money management topics for the junior secondary Personal, Social & Humanities Education and Liberal Studies curriculum. It comprises two modules that are embedded in the curriculum of secondary three to six. The package provides worksheets, presentation slides and lesson plans which facilitate the teaching and reduces workload in lesson preparation

Also, We have invited Mr YEUNG Ying-fai from Hong Kong Taoist Association The Yuen Yuen Institute No.2 Secondary School and Dr Lou Vivian Weiqun from Sau Po Centre on Ageing (HKU) for teaching experience sharing and knowledge enrichment.
