2017-2018 Stock Trading Guru Inter-School Competition

Activities

The Stock Trading Guru Board Game Competition ("the Competition") is organised by the Hong Kong Association for Business Education (HKABE) and The Chin Family (TCF) and supported by the Education Bureau. It aims to help secondary school students learn some essential financial knowledge, and encourage good attitudes towards money management.

To help teachers teach money management at schools we have developed the Stock Trading Guru board game, produced related teaching resources and also delivered professional training to Business, Accounting and Financial Studies (BAFS) teachers. The game can help teachers teach "Stock Trading as an Investment" – a compulsory part of the revised BAFS curriculum. Currently more than 150 teachers have already been trained to use this teaching resource.
